Enrollment Information for FAVE:

• Students must meet the criteria to be successful in a virtual setting and adhere to FAVE’s policies/procedures of daily class attendance and participation. 

• Students are scheduled for 6 synchronous class periods, which meet Monday – Friday (Wednesday is asynchronous for secondary students).   

   

Attendance Policy at FAVE:  

 

• Similar to a face-to-face environment, students at FAVE are expected to attend all scheduled classes daily (including specials, connections, and electives). 

• Classes at FAVE are synchronous and teachers deliver live lessons. Therefore, daily attendance is imperative to student success at FAVE. 

 

Cameras on Policy at FAVE: 

 

• Students are required to attend all live lessons with their device cameras on and use a standard FAVE or standard Microsoft Teams background filter.  

• Students must remain visible on camera for the duration of live instruction to be marked present. Students may be off camera for teacher approved breaks.  

• An IT ticket must be submitted within 24 hours if a student is experiencing camera issues and cannot use his/her camera. If a new device is needed, devices must be picked up within three school days to avoid students being marked absent.
